May 9, 2025 Hong Kong – The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad College's campus transformed into a high-tech racing arena! Meta Dot partnered with the school to host "STEAM Day," where 120 students from Form 1 delved into mechanical engineering and physics through RC car challenges and hands-on modifications.

From Parts to Racers: Igniting Engineering Minds

In preparatory workshops, student teams systematically mastered vehicle mechanics and performance optimization.

Meta Dot mentors emphasized the "dynamic equilibrium between speed and stability," guiding students to analyze component synergy. One participant exclaimed after testing: "Micro-adjustments to the structure dramatically improved our car's cornering performance!"

Innovation Accelerated: Dual-Track RC Challenge

Racing Format: Two 10-minute rounds; rankings determined by total laps completed (fastest individual lap time as tiebreaker).

Track Designs:

  • Obstacle Course: Simulated rugged terrain with real-world road challenges
